Health and WaSH

Safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene are key determinants of good health. PPL is addressing these aspects through direct interventions in availability of safe drinking water and sanitation in schools, anganwadi centres, communities and at a household level Additionally, the behavioural aspects of safe sanitation and hygiene are also fostered through engaging with women, adolescent girls and school children. At locations far-away from public health facilities, regular OPDs and health check-ups for screening of non-communicable diseases (cardiac, hypertension, blood pressure, diabetes) have been conducted.
