We had "One Lakh Tree Plantation” drive organised at Paradeep Unit. It draws inspiration from Hon’ble Prime Minister of India’s call of the "Ek Ped Maa ke Naam” #Plant4Motherinitiative.
The drive was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Mr. Mrinal Kanti Biswas, Regional Director of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Mr. Pushkar Behera, Regional Officer of the Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB), and other distinguished guests from CPCB, OSPCB, and IIT Kharagpur.
We are certain that the leadership of Mr. Rajeev Nambiar, Our President & COO, and Mr. Palanisamy Velusamy, our Chief Manufacturing Officer & Unit Head of the Paradeep Unit, will encourage every PPL employee and we will achieve the ambitious mission of planting 100,000 saplings across various locations within our premises this year. The plantation drive witnessed participation by over 200 employees, and we planted more than 5,000 local species within our premises. We will continue collaborating with the government bodies and stakeholders, to foster a greener and healthier environment for future generations.
